== Universities ==
In Bihar there are fourteen state universities, nine (five working, one state and two proposed) central universities, two deemed universities, and one private university.
Since 2005 Bihar has experienced a lot of reforms. Many world-class institutions are developing in the state. Nalanda University and the proposed Vikramshila University will attract students from across the globe. To improve skill development, the central govt has decided to build India's first national skill development university in Bihar.
